Whether you lean to the left or the right side of the aisle, that little white ball doesn’t care if your ballet is red or blue. Like America’s pastime, baseball, golf in America is as bipartisan as apple pie.
It is well documented throughout history that many American Presidents were avid golfers. In fact, 16 of the last 19 Presidents hit the links while holding the highest office in the land. All the U.S. presidents who played golf, including Joe Biden, Donald Trump Former President Barack Obama is known to have frequented courses in the Hawaiian Islands, working on his game while serving as the 44th President. Donald Trump is in a class of his own when it comes to golf. Potus 45 and 47 owns eighteen public and private golf properties around the world. Beyond politics, the golf course has always been a place where business is conducted, and relationships forged. For the regular hackers, the links is where friends connect, parents bond with children and grownups find competition long after the Friday night lights have been turned off.
Golf of America was designed to be a celebration of the game we love, and an expression of individual enthusiasm. The beauty of this hat is that Golf of America can represent whatever you want it to. Trouble Off The Tee isn’t here to disrupt the game, change the world or make a statement. We are hacking our way through this round of life just like everyone else. Although it is impossible to ignore the political origins of the term, the message from us is that golf in America is great. And we are truly one nation united under the flag of golf.
